Miho Kaise

After working as a real estate broker for Century 21 agency, I left the real estate industry. Afterward, I obtained my Certified International Real Estate Specialist (CIPS) certification from the Japan-America Real Estate Coalition Office (JARECO) and was looking for an opportunity to work as a global real estate agent.

Adam German

I was tired of working for companies that took my generated revenue for granted all the while preaching that I should be grateful for the opportunity to work for them. On top of that, the companies I worked for took far too much of my earned revenue. Often, when the company didn't make any ROI, my bonus suffered because the company had a "bad year" despite me having great earnings in new business lines.

Miyu Toyonaga

I have over 8 years of experience in the real estate industry.
I started my involvement in the real estate industry when I was previously living in Australia as a self-employed agent, introducing properties to high net worth domestic and international investors. I then returned to Japan to work for a major foreign real estate company providing global real estate solutions to multinational corporations and business owners.

Then I met KW Tokyo.
Currently, I am expanding my network based on domestic and international clients that I have helped in the past, referrals from KW U.S. and business owners and individual investors who own income-producing real estate.
I think the Keller Williams brand tends to be associated with overseas projects, but in my case, I feel that people appreciate the professionalism as a self-employed agent.
I often have clients who have never heard of Keller Williams before but are interested in KW Tokyo and me.
We are currently aiming to meet our clients' needs from various perspectives based on the asset of real estate, from rentals and sales to income and overseas properties. I think this is a great opportunity for those who want to work freely, transcending all barriers.

I knew if I was going to do what I believed needed to be done for my clients and my family, I needed to work for myself. What stopped me from running my own business however was the costs involved and the isolation I would face trying to protect and enhance my family's lifestyle.
Then I found Keller Williams. What attracted me is the commitment to Agent First. Agents do not work for Keller Williams, rather works for the agents. This means providing agents with the business support, education support and technology platforms where an agent can effectively run their own business from day one.
I am now working for myself amongst other entrepreneurial and like-minded agents all trying to be the best they can be. I recommend Keller Williams to any agent who is seriously thinking of starting their own business. Here you have the benefits of running your own business without the crushing isolation that goes along with it. You have access to a brand name that doesn't need to be built from the ground up and also a company who's ethos is "Agent First".
If my story resonates with you, then maybe it is time to contact KW Tokyo. Running your own business isn't for everyone but just because you are not ready today does not mean you won't be ready tomorrow. But one thing is certain, you'll never make that move unless you start talking to someone and KW Tokyo is the best place to start.

I then returned to Japan to work for a major foreign real estate company providing global real estate solutions to multinational corporations and business owners.
After returning to Japan, I felt firsthand that the real estate industry is still male-dominated when working for a real estate company.
On the other hand, Keller Williams Tokyo has many women working as self-employed who can work on a full commission basis and in their own free time, just like real estate industry overseas.
In addition, I think it is a very good point that Keller Williams Tokyo has a cooperative relationship with other agents rather than competitors. I believe that working with like-minded people in the real estate industry makes it easier to achieve results.
Women's activities and diversity are the keys to the growth of the Japanese economy. Keller Williams Tokyo provides an environment where women can be active even after marriage and childbirth.
